Special Interest Groups: Public Library Adult Program Planners

Public Library Adult Program Planners Network (PLAPPN)

The Public Library Adult Program Planners Network (PLAPPN) is an interest group dedicated to encouraging and promoting adult programming in area libraries.  Whether you're new to programming or, simply need some new ideas, we share information at each meeting about our most interesting and successful programs.

Meetings focus on:

  • Discussion of current programs taking place in area libraries
  • Planning and coordinating joint efforts to bring presenters/programs to the area
  • Developing and presenting programs for the continuing education of librarians and others responsible for adult programming
  • Creating and maintaining databases that might benefit those who are responsible for adult programming
